Mom, Happy 70th Birthday!

These are just a few of my Mom’s superpowers. I just can’t get enough of the picture of my Mom as a little girl. Her smile is so contagious and beautiful!

Growing up my Dad worked out of town often. I remember looking out the window of our home in Kalispell, MT seeing my Mom splitting firewood to keep our home warm. Shoveling snow from our very long driveway so we could get to town. Taking us to work with her while she cleaned other people’s home’s to help pay the bills. Caring for my Sister and I and our pets. Graduating school to be a nurse when she was 48.

What can I say? My Mom is a badass and is still a badass today. I wish I had a picture of her chopping wood and riding skateboards. She’s the quiet strong. She is the kindest woman I know and I’m so proud she is my Mumsy and my daughter’s Grandma. We are better because of you Mom. Happy 70th Birthday! And many more! I love you.
