“There’s beauty in the most unexpected places”, I whisper to Evelyn, my five-year-old daughter. I urge her to look closer at the moss-covered tree stump, where she discovers a teeny tiny mushroom.
Growth can be difficult.
I’ve seen nature thrive in challenging environments, where plants and trees push through layers of rock, soil, and compost from surrounding vegetation. Despite the difficulty, they still grow miraculously.
Begin again and again.
We can always start anew, like the changing seasons.
