We are limitless.

“The sun never sets or rises. It’s limitless.”

We live near a funeral home. During the start of Covid is when I really started to notice it. The garage doors opening and the vans pulling out. A year later, the tree in our neighbor’s yard was taken down, opening a clear view from our kitchen window to the furnace where bodies are cremated.

At first, I felt fearful when the garage doors would open, and when I could see smoke billowing out of the furnace. But now I use it as a reminder. A reminder that tomorrow is never guaranteed, a reminder that life is fleeting and fragile, and a reminder to live my best life with presence to the best of my ability every second I get on this wild, challenging, and wonderful world. I believe in the unbelievable, I believe we are limitless.

What’s your relationship with death? Do you think about it? Don’t think about it? Do you embrace it or do you fear it?

If you knew today was your last day, what would you do? Leave a comment below, I’d love to know!
