Pacific Trillium.
I went for a hike the other day at Short Sand Beach in Tillamook County, in the mud and new blooms, and it was beautiful! Rain was pouring down, and I was sheltered by the towering trees. The sound of the rain hitting the ferns was music to my ears.
The Pacific Trilliums are blooming, I love these three petal beauties! Before I moved to Oregon, I met a young woman in Bozeman, MT, named Trillium. She said her parents named her after the flowers in Oregon. When I see them I know sunshine, newness, and goodness is on the way.
